How do you know if the dress you picked is the one? When should you get started? This step to me was one of the most crucial as well as the most stressful. In my opinion, your dress is one of the staple pieces for your wedding. It’s going to be in all the pictures, so choose wisely.

When exactly should you get started on searching for your wedding dress? I am in the boat that it is never too early to start. I would suggest at least nine months to a year from your wedding. It can sometimes take months for a wedding dress to come into the store with your size after ordering. Also, you need to allow yourself plenty of time to get your dress altered if you’re planning on doing that. I also recommend ordering your dress a size or two larger than you need. There’s no sense ordering a dress too small for ‘motivation’ to drop a dress size before the big day. Be you, and be comfortable in what you’re wearing.

Definitely check out a few different dress shops, and take your time with the process. Remember to check out those local boutiques, sometimes they have…
